Every year, I say the same thing. "This is the year that I learn to bake bread." Until now, it's never happened. I love yeast bread but have always avoided making it. I was too overwhelmed by the sheer number of steps it took to make the bread. Whenever I saw the word "yeast" in a list of ingredients, my eyes would glaze over and I would quickly turn the page.
